The first Alaska trip – tenderfoots in an Arctic paradise.
This was our first real Alaskan trip, and we learned quite a bit on this classic trek, which wasn’t too long or too short. We got a taste of variable weather – some days hot and sunny, some days snowing, and lots of passing rain squalls. Great wildlife sightings – grizzly, moose, dall sheep, caribou – got us hooked to return to Alaska in subsequent years – in fact almost all subsequent years.
