In tribute to Heidi Schiltz Westmoreland.
Brad’s wife and Luke’s mom, Heidi Schiltz Westmoreland, died on 5 June 2014 in Bigfork, Montana. She was much loved by all of us. Given the circumstances, at Brad’s suggestion we hiked in Montana in 2014, with Heidi’s brother Mark and nephew Forest. This was a relatively short but spectacular trip in the Beartooth-Absaroka Wilderness. It was alpine almost the entire way, with considerable snow and ice. The weather cooperated and it was a great trip in the Lower 48.
