Back to Alaska to heal – a massive reroute required
Our first trip since Scott died – it was emotionally draining but important that we be there. The crux of our planned route blocked by a waterfall plunging beneath a snowbridge, we retraced our steps for a few miles and worked out another route to the pickup spot, pausing for two overnights at raging creek crossings. Oh yeah, and it was buggy.
